Other games
Much of the wording of the OC pages was adapted or directly lifted from previous society games, which in turn took some of it from games before them. For example, the previous sentence was mostly lifted from the Ventures wiki. The main direct sources for this were:
- Scoop!
- Threshold
- Ventures
We also wish to thank whichever members of the Society wrote the timeless 'Intro to the Wiki System' page, which doesn't seem to have changed much in at least 10 years, as well as all those contributors over many past games, who have shaped the Society Game format and been a huge inspiration to us—we are ever grateful!

- Ice-Pick Lodge's Pathologic and its sequels
- The Maze Runner (2014), adapted from the novel by James Dashner
- Trioskaz' No, I'm not a Human
- Emily St. John Mandel's Station Eleven
