===== Narrative: Surrender to Nature =====

//When searching for answers, followers of the Goddesses do not tend to ask the deities directly. Instead, they consult their creations. This practice is, implicitly, an acknowledgement that the deity from whom they seek guidance is incapable of wholly giving it. In a sense, followers of the Goddesses practice a total and complete surrender to nature beyond the conscious wills enacted by the deities whom they herald as all-creators. Total exertion of control and a preference to hear prayers through indirect means would be inconsistent. The Goddesses must be fallible, or at least, each is on Her own. Perhaps their discontent with one another keeps them from being primarily concerned with this fallibilty. Or, perhaps, they are concerned with it, and the finiteness of their powers stops them from doing anything about it.//

//The entrails of Enar Vuk strewn about a three-metre patch in the ground are a gift back to the earth. The summer soils of Din Talin are already rich with blood this season, but Enar, being in perfect health upon his death, is an especially rich source of blood from which to feast. The unusual violence with which the wolves fed on him, usually, and by his own recount, calmer, docile creatures, not easily provoked to craze, could only have been provoked by the temptation of healthy meat. That it was not being elsewhere provided, that they had to look into their own pack to find and extract something to sacrifice for utility, none of this lines up with a devotion to Dearr.//
