Bastion Organisation Quirk: Survivalist
'Don't put your heart in kingdoms and rulers and all that. They all end up the same way.'
Like clockwork, this historian gets up at the same time everyday, opening up shop for the average passerby. A peculiar hobby of the Relic Seeker, exactly what bestowed the title, in exchanging rations for odds and ends of the old worlds. Despite this curiosity, this archivist would rather not explain the world's many histories and intricacies, instead coveting knowledge and keeping away from the crowd. Philosophical remarks are the sorts of things to expect, not any of the small talk you might be more accustomed to around the Bastion.
Turtlenecks, boots, trousers, and a hooded cloak is the type of usual garb the Relic Seeker is dressed in. Seemingly never too cold nor hot, nothing bothers this one. The Contagion is a mere roadblock on a further journey of archaeology and archiving. A curly puff of silver hair and a small braid, with golden earrings, alongside triangle sort-of markings on the cheeks. The Relic Seeker’s skin is completely unblemished, and the only sign of injury is the glove worn on the right hand. It’s not as though you could ask anything, at least with results.
Where one would assume this one would be an excellent scavenger, for some reason, you’d be more likely to see the Seeker patrolling the perimeters, weapon never visible but most certainly there, and few wonder if that is how this one can afford to give away so many rations on trivial bits and bobs. You’re welcome for a chat, though you know it will be brief, as there’s always something more pressing to study or understand. Rare moments find this historian outside, staring at stars, or other things far too impossible to understand, but still trying anyway.
The Relic Seeker’s glasses may be clear (minus a few spots), a glint every here and there, but there is more than meets the eye, as echoed often.
