Dr Chambers is a self-described intellectual. She hoards knowledge as others might hoard food and resources. She has an answer to any question you might want to ask, although some doubt the validity of her rapid-fire responses. Many of you may know her from the many adult classes she runs on local history and training for the less physical jobs around the bastion. All of you know the sneer that falls upon those who dare to question her academic rigour.
